Thank you to those who were able to attend our Science Fair on Wednesday 19th March. I think you will agree that there was a fantastic range of work on display and I know that our learners and staff took great pride in displaying all of the work that has been completed in science lessons so far this year. For those who were unable to attend, we hope you enjoy this video tour of the event.

Safer Internet Day 2025
11/02/2025 1:26 PM

On Tuesday 11th February 2025 we supported Safer Internet Day. The theme this year was 'Too good to be true? Protecting yourself and others from scams online.'

Safer Internet Day focuses on starting a conversation about how to spot, respond to and report scams of all types online.

The week before in our assemblies we introduced the theme for this year's event, then throughout school we learnt about different types of scams and general internet safety.

Some learners in the secondary department took part in the BBC Bitesize live online event. Japan Class learned about Chilly the Penguin and helped him make safe decisions whilst being online. Students in Turtle class sang a song about online safety before discussing their trusted adults, what was safe to share online, and what should be kept private. Tiger class loved the song about Dongle the Rabbit and learnt how to be SMART online.

Some of the resources we used:

BBC Bitesize Live Lesson

Smartie the Penguin

BBC Safer Internet Day

Information for families with helpful hints and suggestions of how to keep your child safe online.
